This was a great show with some fun international "hybrid" tag teams like Hailey Hatred and Zeuxis, Takako Inoue and Silueta, also SHIMMER X Woman = Australian wrestler and SHIMMER fixture, Kellie Skater, took on former NEO worker Aki Kambayashi. Kambayashi got the win.
The joshi sorority came out in force to support this new promotion with the SHIMMER-like international vision. Joshi greats Ayumi Kurihara, Tomoka Nakagawa, Hiroyo Mastumoto, Manami Toyota, and Toshie Uematsu, joined Yumiko Hotta and Mima Shimoda who are teaming to head the promotion. Interestingly the first five have all been to the USA in the last six months either at SHIMMER or CHIKARA PRO. The CMLL title was defended at this show as well with Amapola defending against a challenge by Marcela.

Next Sunday, May 15, Reina 2 will feature two new international stars: Roxie Cotton and Mia Yim. Both East Coast-based workers are thrilled to be going to Japan and if the card is anything like this week's offering, they will be in fabulous company. Good luck Roxie and Mia!
