Who Will Mia Yim Face at SHINE 6?

In this promotional video released today, Mia Yim seems eager to get back to SHINE and climb the ladder to make a name for herself, but she seems even more focused at evening the score vs Jessicka Havok who clearly wanted to hurt her on the eve of her departure for Japan and a contractual relationship with REINA x WORLD.  Had Jessicka succeeded, Mia's career could have been ruined.  So I definitely "get" her anger and see why she wants revenge.  The only problem is that Jessicka is already booked for a revenge match of sorts vs Reby Sky.  So how will this play out?  Unless Mia joins the Jessicka-Reby match making it a 3-way contest, I do not see the two meeting in the ring this time.  That may mean that if revenge happens -- as shit does --  it may happen back stage or before or after the bell of the Havok-Sky match. in any case, Jessicka has been warned in this promo video.

Mia at SHINE

The questions that is still unanswered is "Who WILL Mia face in the ring?"  As I look at the talent already named for the show, and also thus far unassigned to a match, the most tantalizing option is Ivelisse.  The Puerto Rican bombshell has a big-time game and would be a perfect opponent for Mia.  I think it would be a great match.  I would love to see Mia take on Rain, but it seems Rain's injury will keep her out of contention this time.  Most of the other talent Mia has faced before, and she is scheduled to face Santana in the PWS/BLOW event on Feb. 9.  My second choice would be Su Yung whom Mia has faced in custom matches but perhaps never in a LIVE match.  Nikki Roxx and Leah von Dutch would also be worthy opponents though Mia has faced each of them before.  As much as I like the many Kimber Lee v Mia matches that I have seen, I hope SHINE avoids that well-traveled booking.

Of course there is likely to be some talent added this week and so other options will present themselves.  A Mia v Tracy Taylor bout, for instance, could be a lot of fun.  But we will have to wait, albeit impatiently, for those late talent announcements.

In the future, who would not want to see a Mia Yim v Reby Sky battle?  Also Mia v Mercedes or Mia v Amazing Kong would be fantastic as well.  Mia fits so well with the SHINE roster that I look forward to her running through the lineup in future months.  SHINE definitely gets my vote for promotion of the YEAR!
